Submission Standards
ENTRY REQUIREMENTS
Open to all artists who live, work or paint in New England.
All work must be original, no AI, no works with underlying prints. No photography or prints of any type please. Works must be available for display and be available for sale. No copies of the work submitted should be available via the artist, another gallery or association.

Submission Standards
Works must be dropped off on Thurs. Nov 20th 12-6:30 or Fri. Nov 21st from 10-7PM.

Jan 2nd & 12-7, Jan 3rd 12-5 Any works not picked up by Jan 7 Th will be assessed a storage fee.

All entries must be created independently by the artist. Paintings done in a course, class, or workshop are not eligible. Paint must be fully dry. No tacky wet or sticky paint allowed.

The gallery has the right to refuse artworks that are fragile or can be easily damaged.

Works should not contain minerals, dirt or other materials which aren?t dry to the touch. Works should be clean and free from residues or solvents.

Threadneedle Gallery will have the right to photograph the works for print & advertising. Artists naturally retain all copyrights.

Prices are set by the artist. The gallery is happy to help with pricing. Pricing once set cannot be changed.

Accepted paintings must be identical to the image submitted for entry. No substitutions, copies, adjustments, repairs, or any other modifications are allowed after the entry image is submitted.
Images should be in .Jpg format. They should be clear, high resolution and easy to see. All images should be at least 1 Meg.

Hanging:
Works should be simply framed. The exceptions to this are, works on panel or raised canvas. Works sell better if framed.

Works must be able to be hung. No saw teeth or french cleats please. A simple wire back works best. Wire should be loose enough to hang the piece. Works can include a small easel but we will have limited space to display works so a hanging wire is preferred.

Individual pieces should not weigh more than 10 lbs.

Payment
Payment for the call is made at the time of submission.
Entry fee is non-refundable. Refunds cannot be given for works which have previously been sold/are unavailable. Refunds cannot be made if the artist cannot make the drop off. We understand emergencies can arise. But, we also must accommodate the business.
Payment is made for submission and consideration of the artworks. Not all artworks will be included in the show. We recommend that artworks of every type are not political or violent in nature as the gallery is a family space.

Artists Payments:
Threadneedle Gallery is in the habit of paying artists promptly. For this exhibit all artists will be paid at the end of the show. Artists need to fill out a form upon drop off with the name of the piece, the medium, the size, and their name & address for payment. No exceptions. Checks are made payable to the artist.
Payments are made to the artist 60Artist/40 gallery. This represents 60/40%.
By entering the exhibition, you agree that you have read and will abide by all rules outlined inthis prospectus.
