OPEN CALL: IMPRINT
Presented by The Hook Experiment
IMPRINT is a juried, global collective exhibition exploring the impressions that shape us - the visible and invisible traces of memory, identity, history, and human experience.
Every person, place, and moment leaves an impression. Artists are invited to explore the stories we inherit, the experiences we carry, and the forces that transform us. Through personal narratives and collective perspectives, IMPRINT examines what remains, what changes, and what we leave behind.
Hosted by The Hook Experiment, this exhibition invites artists from around the world to reflect on the memories we preserve, the histories we rewrite, and the traces we leave behind.
Through drawing painting, sculpture, photography, installation, mixed media, and experimental practices, IMPRINT celebrates art as a powerful record of human experience, transformation, and connection.
Submission Guidelines

Artists may submit up to 6 works for consideration.
ARTWORK REQUIREMENTS
Size: Finished work must be exactly 10 x 10 inches
Media: Drawing, painting, printmaking, assemblage, wood, glass, ceramics, collage, photography
Not accepted: Video, electronics, or work requiring power
Artist Statement: Up to 150 words about the work you are submitting (reflection, poem, or contextual statement)
Images: JPEG format, 1500+ pixels on shortest side, 300 dpi preferred
SUBMISSION FEE
$25 for up to 3 submissions
$5 each additional (up to 6 total)
REQUIRED INFORMATION

o Completed agreement form (to be provided upon acceptance)
Artist Participation
Artists receive 70% of all artwork sales.
Artwork may be designated NFS (Not For Sale).
Accepted artists will be featured in:
A dynamic opening and closing reception
School and community engagement events
Extensive marketing and publicity
