By submitting, you grant the Museum a non-exclusive license to use images of selected works for promotional purposes on its website and in non-commercial publications. You also understand that works might be photographed by the public while on display.

It is the responsibility of the artist to transport and insure (if desired) works in transit to and from the Museum.

Work must be shipped in reusable containers.

All works will be insured by the Museum while on display for their estimated value. If no value is provided, the Museum will insure the work for the value of the entrance fee.

Works sent to the Museum must be installation-ready with adjustable hanging hardware; no saw-tooth plates.

Acrylic or Plexi glazing is required in place of glass, unless work is pastel.

If specific installation materials are needed, this information must be included with the original entry, and those materials should be included with the shipped work, along with clear instructions for installation.

The Museum reserves the right to reject any artwork due to inadequate preparation for installation, or for potential security or public safety issues.

Any accepted and delivered works which differ in quality from or are not representative of the digital file may be disqualified at the discretion of the juror.

Sales of work is permitted, but not required. The Museum will take a 30% commission on sales, or a 10% commission from purchase awards.

Work returned by post will be shipped to the address of origin listed on the loan contract unless otherwise instructed. Please include shipping labels, FedEx or UPS account numbers, or prepaid USPS postage for the return.

Work not collected within 30 days of the close of the exhibition will become the property of the Swope Art Museum to be disposed of at the Museum's convenience.
