CALL FOR STUDENT ART WORK!
The University of St. Francis Art Gallery is seeking junior college artists to participate in a nationwide competition with over $12,000 in scholarship and cash awards. The USF Art Gallery is located one block from the historic Rialto building in downtown Joliet. Engaging the next generation of art & design students, the 2019 Junior College Art Exhibition will award scholarships for those seeking to earn their BA (Bachelors of Arts) at USF, award cash prizes, encourage artistic excellence, provide networking opportunities, and enhance professional capacity through a competitive exhibition to be held in October 2019. Artworks of all medias are eligible; including but not limited to: paintings, sculpture, mixed media, photography, graphic design, installations, short film, and video. For film or specialty entries, student must provide AV equipment if accepted. Artwork should not exceed 7’ in any direction. Applicants may submit up to three works of art.
