1st Annual Snohomish Studio Tour

• Show Dates: September 30, 2023, 11am - 5pm; October 1, 2023, 12pm - 4pm

• The following information will be needed for your submission. Please read through this and continue:




• If you have a studio to feature on the tour, how many other artists can you accommodate at your location.

• Provide a description of the type of space your studio is and how attendees will navigate your space. For example - detached building at home, a room in your home, commercial property, upstairs, ground-level, etc.

• Determine how much work you have to share at this event

• Submit 3-5 images of artwork (specifically art or the type of art that you will show and/or sell at the Studio Tour)
Image and File Name: JPG or PNG only. Maximum file size: 4mb; Minimum file size: 500k; Minimum image width: 800px.
File Name: Must be submitted as; Lastname_firstname_title_size(wxh).jpg (e.g.: Smith_Mary_Windy_Day_24wx20h.jpg)

• The non-refundable entry fee is $20. The accepted applicants participation fee is $100, due upon acceptance.*
*(Participation fees may be waived, on a case-by-case basis. The Snohomish Studio Tour is an inclusive event, and participation fees should not be a barrier. Please contact [email protected] for inquiries about waiving participation fees.)


Requirements


• As a studio artist host you have a studio within the Snohomish School District boundaries

• As a non-studio artist you are an artist within Snohomish, or an adjacent city: Everett, Lake Stevens, Mill Creek, Monroe, Clearview, Maltby, Machias, Granite Falls

• You are available and onsite for the duration of the event

• You'll share your own original artwork (including showing the type of artwork submitted in your application)

• Your space is 'safe' and parking is reasonable (or there are parking solutions)

• You'll uphold the terms of agreement outlined in the Studio Tour Participant Agreement

• Submission fee of non-refundable $20, and participation fee of $100 for each approved participating artist to cover advertising and logistics costs.

• You can only share your art as an approved Studio Tour Participants (no other unapproved art/artists to be shown at your space during the event)

• As part of the application process, the Studio Tour Committee will conduct a site-visit to your studio space to observe the environment in person. This is a juried event, therefore not all applicants are guaranteed acceptance.

• SAC does not carry insurance to cover damage to personal property during the Studio Tour event, or against personal injury to participants or Studio Tour visitors. SAC advises participants to obtain insurance for the event.
