North Star Gala 2024 Call to Artists

This September 14th will be our 2nd annual North Star Gala. Over 150 guests from Sonoma County and San Francisco Bay Area and beyond attend this annual sold-out show event. We invite you to submit your artwork to our unique commissioned-based Fundraising Art Sale, where artists have a chance to participate in a LIVE auction and a SILENT auction. Artists can receive up to 40% of the final sale of their work. The North Star Gala Fall Fundraising Art Sale is your opportunity to further support the critical fundraising SebArts needs to survive and thrive. If you prefer to waive your commission, we would also appreciate the additional support!

LIVE AUCTION (Sep 14) A limited and select number of pieces will be on view in a gallery setting on site and auctioned LIVE on stage by the auctioneer. If your work is selected, we will ask you to provide an artist statement. Art will be auctioned at a minimum opening bid set at 50% of value or higher. Artists can elect to receive up to 40% of the final sale price. Artists will receive event exposure to Bay Area art collectors and enthusiasts, corporate sponsors and donors, publicity through online auction previews and social media sites. You are supporting SebArts, your community Art Center! Painting, printmaking, drawing, ceramics, sculpture, fiber arts, photography and other works on paper allowed! NFT, AI generated work and giclees will NOT be accepted.
SILENT AUCTION ART (Sep 1 - Sep 30) Up to sixty entries will be selected for inclusion in the silent online auction which takes place at sebarts.org. Art will be sold at value and not auctioned.
