Overview:
Common to all of us are the experiences of eating with friends and celebrating life at the dining table. We invite you to explore creative and unconventional interpretations of what graces a table where friends meet for food. Artwork will be displayed collectively as actual table setting installations in the Art League Museum galleries and on the gallery walls. Think about utensils, place settings, centerpieces, serving dishes, candelabras, terrines?anything related to a totally unique fine dining experience.
This exciting opportunity challenges you to showcase your work in an innovative way, in an innovative forum in our upcoming Juried Exhibition, The Fine Art of Dining.
Who is Eligible:
All Texas Artists and SAALM member artists from all backgrounds and mediums - painting, sculpture, ceramics, metals, photography, mixed media, or any other tangible form of artistic expression.
We encourage all Guilds - Clay, Metal, Glass, Wood and Fiber - to have their members participate, and we encourage collaboration amongst artists and between guilds.
This exhibition is unique.
We invite all Texas Artists to participate and encourage every current SAAALM member to submit.
We encourage all Guilds: Clay, Metal, Glass, Wood and Fiber to participate.
We encourage collaboration amongst artists and between guilds.
We are incredibly excited about bringing together a host diverse Artists, Artisans and Collaborative teams to bring this concept to fruition. The San Antonio Art League + Museum will showcase the diverse and impressive talents of our State and SAAL+M membership in the lavish and fanciful concept of dining.
Monetary awards:
Best in Show: $500 First Place: $300 Second Place: $200 Third Place: $100

All media are acceptable except jewelry and video.
Computer-enhanced photography works will be considered
and must be designated as such.
