May Group Art Show

Show your art in Barcelona, next to Picasso Museum.
The gallery offers artists an opportunity to submit your art, on the basis of partnership, and shared responsibility.
The collective exhibition May Group Art Show 2020 be held in Barcelona from April 21 to May 23, 2020.
The red03 Art Gallery is in Barcelona, in the El Born neighborhood, in front of the Picasso Museum. El Born is a internationally recognized area, in the old city, with old and restored buildings housing art galleries, museums, small studios, theatre, along with acclaimed restaurants and bars.

The gallery has been open for 14 years, currently opening six days a week.
We promote a perspective of art, within conscious consumption. Each work has been designed and created by human beings, artists who work to add value to the world we inhabit.
We propose the possibility of showing, buying and selling art in an ethical way and consistent with our social commitment. We seek decent work conditions.
We offer pieces made in the most responsible way possible, because we work taking care of and improving our environment.
We currently offer a selection of objects from national and international artists.
Conditions for participation
1. This group art show is only open to 2D artists and photographers,. No reproductions of original paintings or drawings are allowed.
2. Each author may participate by sending e-mail up to four works of visual art for exhibition at the gallery.
3. Of all the works presented, the Gallery may select up to a maximum of 3 originals to exhibit during the group art show, in the gallery red03, located at c / Cremat Gran 9, 08003 Barcelona (next to the Picasso Museum).

4. About the works:
The size of works for exhibition at the gallery will be up to Maximum Size 20" width x 28" height (50x70cm) and Minimum 6" (15cm)
The works should be produced. Notified after their selection, the artist will be responsible for sending the work to the gallery address and its subsequent pick up.
5. To be considerer, works to be sent by e-mail until March 31 2020 with the subject: Open call May Group Exhibition, to: [email protected]
6. In an attached document shall be entered the author's full name, identity, nationality, address, phone, email, title of work, technique, selling price (We ask 50% commission from the sold works).
7. The author of selected works by the gallery allows their works to be exhibited, published and / or used as part of cultural and promote activities, specifying in each case the title and author name.

8. Calendar:
Deadline for work submission by email: until March 31, 2020
Deadline for registration March 31.
The selected works will be exhibited from April 21 to May 20, in red03 Gallery of Barcelona, c / Cremat Gran 9, 08003 Barcelona.
Return of unsold artwork: to be picked up from the gallery before May 27, date from which, will be considered available to the gallery.
We will only contact those selected before April 5.

11. Exhibition on-line:
Work for the virtual exhibition will be images in jpg files, weighing not more than 200Kb, and a maximum size of 1000 pixels on its longest side, 72 dpi.

12. The author of the works sent to the gallery, with the act of sending authorize that they be displayed on-line and claim to be the holder of the relevant copyright.
13. We will do an extensive promotion of the exhibition on our web site, social media, offering the works to a huge global audience and will still be selling your art on our site until 3 months after your exhibition is over (negotiable).
14. We will make an online catalogue of the exhibition. The catalogue will outlive the exhibition.
15. Any other issue not covered in the Basis of Participation will be determined by the organizers.
