Mainstreet Grosse Pointe is seeking artists to participate in the 'It Takes a Village' public art display, which will be installed around the Village fountain in the heart of Downtown Grosse Pointe. Artists are invited to interpret the meaning of community, and what it takes to create a welcoming, inclusive and cultural downtown district around the 'It Takes a Village' theme.
?Generations of shoppers have called The Village home for shopping for nearly a century. Consisting of unique locally owned businesses, boutiques, and restaurants, visitors come to shop, eat and casually stroll the Village loop.
