The Phoenix Show: Inner Visions

Criteria for Submissions
Media:
Up to 3 pieces of original artwork in any of the following media:Ceramic, Drawing, Mixed Media, Painting, Photography, Printmaking, Sculpture, Textile; and any subject matter. (CAVEAT:Because the host’s venue is open to the public and primarily caters to families and children, we cannot accept artwork with nudity. We ask for your understanding of this restriction.)
A work is not ‘Original’ if it is a digital reproduction of a complete and original piece, with no substantive artistic changes. Listed medium must accurately reflect all media used.

Size and Exhibiting Preparation:
2D - No larger than 60” width, 72” in height. 2-D work must be ready to hang and be either framed or with finished edges.
3D – no larger than 4'in Width and Height no greater than 7' including pedestal. If pedestal is required for display, it must be provided. All work must be ready to exhibit with all installation requirements provided. Unusual or complex installations should be completed or directed by the artist.

Geographic reach:
Artists must work and reside in Bucks County, PA and the surrounding adjacent counties.

Submission:
Artwork must be submitted by digital images. Digital images must not be greater than 1200 pixels on the longest side and no larger than 5MB. File types accepted are: jpg, jpeg, PDF and PNG. Each entry must have one digital image of the entire work, up to 2 detail images per entry may be included. Artists agree that their submitted images (if accepted) may be used in promotion of the exhibit. High resolution images are preferred for printed media promotions.

Entry fee:
$25 first submission, $10 for additional submissions to a total of 3 submissions.
Commission Split:
Work should be for sale with appropriate pricing.
Commission from any sale is 35% with 65% going to the artist.
All profits from the exhibition will be donated to “Hand in Hand” a program of the Center for Emerging Visual Artists. The program brings professional visual artists together with more than 750 children in crisis each year for meaningful arts engagement, free of charge.
