This is the second members exhibition of the Philadelphia Pastel Society which will be in the Ethel Sergeant Clark Smith Gallery at the Wayne Art Center.

Total Awards in Excess of $ 1000.00
Members: $35 Entry Fee. Members dues must be paid in full prior to entering this Members Exhibition. Make sure your contact information is up to date on the PPS website or you may not receive notifications pertaining to this show.
Juror of Selection - Not Juried
Members are permitted to submit up to two pieces of artwork of which you will designate your first choice for inclusion in this exhibition. All members are guaranteed acceptance of one painting. If gallery space permits, additional pieces will be selected by the exhibition committee.
Judge of Awards - Fred Danziger
Fred Danziger is a 1970 graduate of PAFA who went on to teach at the Art Institute of Philadelphia and PAFA for over 40 years (he is still teaching at PAFA today via ZOOM). He has had over 20 solo shows and been represented in over 100 group shows. His work has been collected by the Philadelphia Museum of Art, The Pennsylvania Academy of Fine Art - Museum of American Art, and the Southern Alleghenies Museum of Art to name a few.
Representation of Fred's work includes the Sherry French Gallery (NYC), the James Gallery (Pittsburgh), the Rodger LaPelle Gallery {Philadelphia), the F.A.N. Gallery (Philadelphia) and Gallery 222 (Malvern).He is currently curating his personal collection of 118 artists at venues including Gallery 222 (Jan 2021) and the Main Line Art Association (March 2021). The show will move on to Pittsburgh later in the year.
In 2018 Fred won an Emmy for his illustrations featured on History Making Productions 'Before Hollywood: Philadelphia and the Birth of the Movies'.
