Art Shapes the World: 2014 - A Youth Arts Exhibition

Entry Donations: There is no fee to enter your art in this exhibition.
The Petaluma Arts Center suggests a $5 donation to enter up to 3 works of art for juried selection to the exhibition. Donations of any size will help to cover the costs of the exhibitions. Please send your donation check to:

Selection Process: All art must be original and not copies of master artists or images from the media.

Jurors will select student art for the exhibition based on California Visual Arts Standards relevant to grade level: Artistic Perception, Creative Expression, Historic and Cultural Context.

Artists are required fill out the entry form online and submit a written statement along with his/her art. It can be in form of a paragraph, statement, or poem.

Acceptance: Artists will be contacted by email by March 10, 2014

IMPORTANT: We will provide assistance in photographing entries and provide financial assistance and instruction for framing selected art.

Awards: will be given for outstanding achievement for elementary, middle and high school categories.
