Exhibition Theme – “What’s Going on?”
In the words of Marvin Gaye, singer/songwriter, 1939-1984: We don’t need to escalate | You see, war is not the answer | For only love can conquer hate | You know we’ve got to find a way | To bring some lovin’ here today | Come on talk to me | So you can see | What’s going on (What’s going on)
We invite artists to respond to the enduring question, “What’s going on?” — a question that continues to resonate in times of personal reflection or profound change. Submissions should explore one’s inner landscape, or address the broader human condition, including social, cultural or environmental realities. We seek thoughtful, visually compelling work that reflects the present moment or images from the past that mirror our current world.
Submission: If you live in the general Chicago area and can bring your work to the gallery, you are invited to submit up to five (5) images in JPEG format. Work must not have previously been shown at Perspective Gallery. All types of non-AI generated photographic work are welcome.
