Pennswood Art Gallery - Open to students of Bucks County Classical Arts Center. Artists must include their student "key" as one of their entries.

About Linda Gist, Juror of Selection
Linda Gist received her formal training at the Philadelphia College of Art. Her work has been shown in numerous exhibitions, including the Society of Illustrators in New York, the Art Directors Club of Denver, the Philadelphia Art Directors Club and Woodmere Museum of Art. She is regularly included in the Philadelphia Society of Botanical Illustrators' group exhibits, the juried botanical art exhibition at the Philadelphia Flower Show, and has been in the international juried American Society of Botanical Art exhibition in New York. Her work is in the permanent collection of the Hunt Institute for Botanical Documentation at Carnegie Melon Univ. Local solo exhibits include Cabrini College and the Horticultural Society of Philadelphia. Her water-based media pieces focus on natural subjects. She also produces drawings and paintings of the human form from life. She taught Illustration at the University of the Arts and currently teaches at the Penna. Academy of the Fine Arts in Philadelphia.
