Easter Photography Competition and Exhibition

1. All entries must show some reflection of this year’s themes.
2. Entry forms must be received by Tuesday March 18 2014 complete with entry fees.
3. Entry fees are not refundable.
4. Maximum of two entries per section will be accepted.
5. Open to any photographer in Western Australia.
6. Photographs must have been taken after 01/01/2012.
7. A digital preselection acceptance process has been introduced for 2014.
8. Accepted works must be delivered to the Pemberton Sports Club between 2pm and 6pm Tuesday 15 April 2014 clearly marked on the back with title, name, phone number, price and total number of prints (if limited editions), or by mail to PO Box 214 Pemberton Western Australia 6260 prior to this date.
9. Insurance is the responsibility of the artist. Reasonable care will be taken but we do not accept responsibility for any loss and/or damage at any time before, during or after the exhibition.
10. Transport and insurance of photographs to and from the Pemberton Sports Club remains the responsibility of the photographer.
11. All entries (other than the mounted print section) must be professionally presented, either framed or printed on canvas and be ready to hang with cord attached 1/3 down the frame. Entries not ready to hang will not be accepted.
12. The organisers reserve the right to reject any entry on the grounds that subject or method of production is considered unsuitable; if the photographer resides outside of Western Australia; or if any of these conditions of entry have been breached.
13. The organisers accept no responsibility for breach of copyright laws by the entrant.
14. The organisers reserve the right to reproduce images for promotional purposes with appropriate acknowledgment of the photographers.
15. Due to limited space, only accepted works will be displayed.
16. Selection and judges decisions are final and no correspondence will be entered into.
17. All works must be for sale and are subject to 20% commission.
18. Payment for works sold will be posted to artists within three weeks of the close of the exhibition.
19. Awards will be announced at the opening preview and reception 6pm Thursday 17 April 2014.
20. Unsold works must be collected between 1pm and 4pm Sunday 27 April 2014. Works remaining at the Sports Club after this time will be returned COD unless alternative arrangements are made by the photographer prior to the collection time.
21. The original image must be made by the entrant on photographic emulsion or acquired with a digital imaging camera. Any modification of the original image must be made by the entrant. Images produced from materials copyrighted by persons other than the entrant are ineligible.
22. By entering this competition and exhibition, artists signal their agreement with these terms and conditions.
