Artwork may be for sale or not for sale
We require one digital image per artwork submission, but you may add up to three additional views per piece that you enter.

Images
*Submit up to a total of 4 JPEG images for each piece
*First image should be the primary view
*Include at least one image that shows the entire piece

File format
*JPEG/JPG only
*Do not use Progressive JPEG format
*No PDFs

File dimensions
*No smaller than 600 pixels on the smaller side, no larger than 4000 pixels on the longest side
*300 dpi

Participants will be required to submit their artist bio (300 words max), artist statement (300 words max), and a short description about each work (150 words max for each entry).

Artwork requirements:
*original 2D or 3D work and artist's original design.
*maximum 2D size no larger than 40 x 40 inches framed
*2D art: the Museum has no framing requirements. But GAP recommends that any framed works over 12x16 inches should be framed under plexiglas, not glass, and that D-rings, not sawtooth hangers, be used.
* For 3D sculptures, no more than 16 x 16 inches wide or deep x 36 inches in height, for a display case, and not higher than 40 inches if exhibited without a protective cover. Not too many large 3D works can be accommodated.
*Weight of art should not exceed 25 pounds
*Smaller works may be prioritized to allow for more participation.
If accepted, you will be responsible for sending your artwork to the Heritage Museum of Asian Art so that it arrives not earlier than September 2, 2026, and not later than Wednesday, September 23, 2026. More info about shipping forthcoming.
