The Padzieski Gallery invites submissions for its annual exhibition of Photography. Works may include video, mixed media and alternative photographic processes.
This years juror is Don Hudson. Born in Detroit, Michigan. In 1972, he decided to act on his love of photography and enrolled in art school at what is now called College for Creative Studies.
He studied the language, both the history and the history-in-making, honed his technical skills, and most importantly, began an association with like-minded souls playing the game of photography.
This years exhibition will take place in the Padzieski Gallery located in the Ford Community & Performing Arts Center in Dearborn, Michigan.
AWARDS:
Juror's Selection: $200 & $25 Frame World and Image Works gift cards.
Juror's Selection 2nd place: $100
Padzieski Gallery Selection: $100 & $25 Frame World and Image Works gift cards.
Padzieski Gallery Selection Second Place: $25 Frame World and Image Works gift cards.
Audience Award: $100
Audience Award Second Place: $25 Frame World and Image Works gift cards.
Artists must provide any necessary equipment (monitors, etc.) necessary to display their work. Work must be framed, wired and ready for installation. Shipping to and from the gallery is not available so we ask that you are able to drop off and pick up your work if selected. A 30% commission will be charged on all sales made during the exhibit.
