'Truth B Told'

* Artists may enter up to 5 pieces of artwork in the drawing, painting, photography, other 2 dimensional, 3 dimensional, fine craft categories and are encouraged to enter several items.
* In the Installation category, artists may propose through formal presentation to the Onyx review committee up to 3 installations on October 1, 2016 or October 8, 2016 between 2 - 4pm each day. Installation artists must call Earnest Thomas at Ph. 206-722-0489 to schedule the presentation. Photos of installation proposals are not required through the Entrything process. However, enough detail of the proposed installation must be made available during the presentation to the Onyx review committee to maximize the selection potential.
* All artwork must be original and entirely the work of the artist.
* No copies, derivatives or reproductions; work cannot be based on copyrighted or materials previously published.
* Works should have been produced within the last five years.
* Work must not have been previously shown in an Onyx 'annual' exhibition.
* 2D works must be a minimum of 9 x 12 inches BEFORE matting or framing. Image sizes stated on EntryThingy must NOT include matting and framing.
* 2D & 3D works which can be hung on a vertical surface must not exceed 6 feet in height and 6 feet in width, BEFORE matting and framing.
* 3D work requiring pedestals may not exceed 30H x 25W x 25D inches. Weight should be less than 50 pounds. It is preferable that you submit 2 views of 3D work.(PLEASE use the view option in EntryThingy.)
* 3D work which can sit independently on the floor can be up to 6 cubic feet and must be moveable by two persons.
* Artists may not substitute or alter the work after it has been submitted or proposed.

* Installation art requiring more than 6 cubic feet of space must be presented to the Onyx review committee for evaluation and selection.
* All artwork including installations MUST be for sale, and must be priced to sell.
* Artists must submit artwork on their own account. Submissions by galleries and artist representatives are not eligible.
* Image size: 1080 pixels on the SHORTEST side with 300dpi resolution. Baseline JPG only.


BE THOROUGH:
* Please put in the image size without frame or mat.
* Images entered with incomplete data (creation date, dimensions, title, price) may not be juried.
* Use the VIEW option for different views of the same 3D piece. Do not submit as a separate item.
* Please enter your information carefully and completely! No changes will be made to the information entered with your application on or after the day of delivery.
* You may use the save feature and take more than one session to complete your entry if necessary. USE THE 'SUBMIT THIS ENTRY' BUTTON ONLY WHEN ALL IMAGES AND INFORMATION HAVE BEEN ENTERED.

ENTRY FEES: (Fees are non-refundable.)

FOR DRAWINGS, PAINTINGS, PHOTOGRAPHY, OTHER 2 DIMENSIONAL, 3 DIMENSIONAL, FINE CRAFTS -

$12 for up to 2 pieces. $5 for each additional piece. Maximum of 5. Examples: 3 pieces cost $17, 4 cost $22 and 5 cost $27. You are encouraged to submit 2 views for 3D works.

FOR INSTALLATION PROPOSALS -

$18 for up to 3 proposals. This fee must be paid directly to the Onyx review committee prior to making the presentation.
