ONYX Fine Arts Exhibition At The Portland, Oregon Edith Green-Wendell Wyatt Federal Building

* Artists may enter a maximum of 3 pieces of artwork and are encouraged to submit the best representation of your artistic expression.
* All works must be original and entirely the work of the artist.
* No copies, derivatives or reproductions; work cannot be based on copyrighted or materials previously published.
* Works should have been produced within the last five years.
* Work must NOT have been previously shown in a Portland Oregon exhibit.
* 2D works must be a minimum of 9 x 12 inches BEFORE matting or framing. Image sizes stated on EntryThingy must NOT include matting and framing.
* 2D works must not exceed 48 inches in height and 48 inches in width, BEFORE matting and framing.
* 3D work requiring pedestals are not eligible for this exhibit. All 3D artwork must be capable of being displayed on a vertical surface.
* Artists may not substitute or alter the work after it has been submitted.
* All artwork MUST be for sale, and must be priced to sell.
* Artists must submit work on their own account. Submissions by galleries and artist representatives are not eligible.
* Image size: 1080 pixels on the SHORTEST side with 300dpi resolution. Baseline JPG only.


BE THOROUGH:
* Please use the image size without frame or mat.
* Images entered with incomplete data (creation date, dimensions, title, price) may not be juried.
* Use the VIEW option for different views of the same 3D piece. Do not submit a different view of a work as a separate item.
* Please enter your information carefully and completely! No changes will be made to the information entered with your application on or after the day of delivery.
* You may use the save feature and take more than one session to complete your entry if necessary. USE THE 'SUBMIT THIS ENTRY' BUTTON ONLY WHEN ALL IMAGES AND INFORMATION HAVE BEEN ENTERED.

ENTRY FEES: A flat fee of $15 is being charged to help cover the cost of this endeavor. Fees are non-refundable.

* Artists will be required to complete an ONYX contract and inventory form and deliver them when artwork is delivered. These forms will be provided on selection of artwork.
* Entries must be suitably finished and wired for hanging. Saw-tooth, hanging devices which use tape as an anchor or cardboard hangers, brackets or hooks are NOT acceptable. Work will be inspected and damage noted upon unpacking.
* Any 2D material that is flexible, other than textiles, must be framed and wired. Mats must be clean and free of marks.
* Textiles of all kinds must have a sleeve with a dowel or strip of wood or other suitable and rigid material with hanging hardware attached.
* No on-site assembly is allowed. Three dimensional art requiring vitrines and pedestals are not eligible for this exhibit.
* Artwork must be delivered to the Earnest Thomas residence at 5112 - 55th Ave. S. Seattle, Washington 98118 on January 31, 2016 or February 7, 2016 for transport to Portland, Oregon. Artwork can also be delivered directly to ONYX representatives in the venue gallery located at 1220 - SW 3rd Ave Portland, OR 97204 between 10am and 12noon on Wednesday February 10, 2016.
* If work is being shipped from out of state, it must arrive at the Earnest Thomas residence at 5112 - 55th Ave. S. Seattle, Washington 98118 by January 25, 2016, and two-way shipping must be paid by the artist.
* A celebratory artists reception is to be determined and will be communicated to the artists when known.
* The specific art pick dates at the end of the exhibit will also be communicated to the artists in the near future.
