THE WAY is an open call from OMMFA, presented with London Design Festival 2026 (Official Partner, LDF26).
"The Way" is both a road and a manner of moving through it. We're used to imagining a path as a straight line from A to B. But the moments that truly redirect a life almost never happen like that — you turn into one street instead of another, stay five minutes longer, say yes without thinking. At the time nothing seems to happen; only later do you realise something had already quietly changed course.
THE WAY invites work that rests on one of those moments: a small, unnoticed turn. The way out, the way in, the way to. We're showing these together as a non-linear conversation — many paths placed side by side, with no single route through and no correct answer.
What we're looking for: work that rests on one specific, unnoticed turn. It can be unfinished, unclear, a fragment. Any medium welcome — painting, print, sculpture, installation, performance (especially), sound, moving image, interactive and interdisciplinary work.
Selected artists are shown at London Design Festival 2026 (15–20 September, London), with inclusion in the official LDF programme, a feature on OMMFA, professional documentation, and 0% commission on sales. Open to all, worldwide.
