• Non-refundable entry fee is $25 for one-to-three entries. Pay online no later than 08/03/2025 by 9pm (note that a PayPal account is not required to use a credit card). Checks must be postmarked by 07/27/2025 and made payable to Northwest Collage Society. Mail checks to Kathryn Kim, 5642 Keystone Pl N, Seattle, WA 98103. Please submit your pieces together. NWCS incurs a cost for each form submission.

• Sales. Arts of Kenmore does not take a commission on sales and will refer purchase inquiries to the Shows Committee. We will contact you in the event of a potential sale. Work can be submitted as NFS (Not For Sale).


• Entries must be original, entirely created by the entrant, and not shown in a previous NWCS exhibit.

• All entries must be collage, defined as: an artistic composition made of various materials (e.g., paper, photographs, paint) glued onto a supporting surface.

• Only entries on 12x12-inch cradled panels will be accepted. Preferred panel depth/thickness is approximately 1 inch (7/8-inch is a standard panel depth).

• Panel edges must be painted black.

• Hanging wires are required. Artwork with sawtooth hangers will not be installed.

• Identify your artwork on the back with a label listing your name, title, and price. Labels are provide on the last page of the prospectus.

• NWCS and Arts of Kenmore reserve the right not to accept artwork it determines to be inappropriate.

• Digital images of selected work will be retained by the NWCS and Arts of Kenmore. NWCS and Arts of Kenmore assume permission to reproduce accepted artwork for promotional uses.

• Image submission requirements: JPG or PNG only. Minimum size on the shortest side: 1080px. Maximum file size: 4mb; Minimum file size: 500k;

• File Names: Lastname_firstname_title_framesize(wxh).jpg (e.g.: brown_john_nightoverseattle_24x24.jpg)

• Use the artist statement field to talk about your approach and provide brief background about you as an artist. Northwest Collage Society may use this information in promotional materials for the show, such as show booklets and social media posts.

• Entry and Awards Juror Shannon Tipple-Leen. Shannon Tipple-Leen has been making her own art and helping others pursue their own art careers for over 20 years. She received a Masters in Fine Arts in Photography and regularly shows her photographs regionally and nationally. Professionally she has been the Gallery Director for the Shoreline-Lake Forest Park Arts Council, the Art Class Coordinator for the Schack Art Center and is currently the Gallery Manager for the Arts of Kenmore. • Awards 9 awards are given for this show. There are 4 first-tier awards (NWCS Award, NWCS Spring 2025 Award, Peggy Tuttle Memorial Award, and Eleanor Wolters Smith Memorial Award). There are also 4 Merit Awards. The 9th award is the Gay Jensen Innovation Award. All awards are at juror discretion.
