Persons of Interest

Non-refundable entry fee is $25 for up to three entries. Pay online (no later than August 30, 2026). Entrythingy uses PayPal to process credit card payments. Note that you do not need to log in with a PayPal account to pay by credit card.

If you are paying by check, you will need to contact the Shows committee (email [email protected]) BEFORE your entry can be completed because we will have to manually submit it. We will give you the address for mailing the check when you contact us.

Please submit your pieces together. NWCS incurs a cost for each form submission.

• Sales. The Shows committee will connect interested purchasers directly to the artists. There will be no commission to NWCS or the venue. Works may be submitted as NFS (not for sale).

• Entries must be original, entirely created by the entrant, and not shown in a previous NWCS exhibit.

• All entries must be collage, defined as: an artistic composition made of various materials (e.g., paper, photographs, paint) glued onto a supporting surface.

• Minimum size is 9 inches in the smallest dimension and maximum size is 24 inches in the longest dimension.

• Accepted work must have a hanging wire attached. Sawtooth hangers are not compatible with the hanging system and we cannot display pieces that are not install-ready.

• Identify your artwork with a label listing your name, title, and price. There are labels on the last page of the prospectus for convenience.

• NWCS reserves the right not to accept artwork they determine to be inappropriate. An example of art that might not be appropriate would be something that could be construed as a racial slur.

• Digital images of accepted work will be retained by the NWCS and may be used for show promotion.

• Image submission requirements: JPG or PNG only. Minimum size on the shortest side: 1080px. Maximum file size: 4mb; Minimum file size: 500k;

• If possible, please use this format for file names: Lastname_firstname_title_framesize(wxh).jpg (e.g.: brown_john_nightoverseattle_24x24.jpg)

• In the entry field, feel free to talk about your approach and interpretation of the show theme. Give a little background about you as an artist. Please do not submit CVs or long bios. A concise paragraph or two will do. Northwest Collage Society may use this information in promotional materials for the show, such as show booklets and social media posts.

• Delivery and Shipping. Shipped works must arrive by September 14. A Seattle-area delivery address (residential) will be provided in acceptance notifications. Artists are responsible for roundtrip shipping and insurance (during shipping), and must include a return shipping label or arrangements for someone to pick up the work if not sold. Please use a container appropriate for reuse in return shipping (boxes are preferred over padded envelopes), and make sure your name is clearly visible on the outside of the package. If using bubble wrap or other material to encase your artwork, please make sure it can be easily unwrapped (use a few tabs of highly visible tape rather than sealing bubble wrap with clear packing tape that is tricky for us to cut through). Returned artwork will ship within 3 weeks of the show close.

• Awards Up to 9 awards are given for this show. Possible first tier awards that may be given include NWCS Award, NWCS Fall 2026 Award, Peggy Tuttle Memorial Award, Eleanor Wolters Smith Memorial Award, and Gay Jensen Innovation Award. There are also 4 possible Merit Awards. These awards are at juror discretion.
