Carnival is a cathartic celebration drenched in color and glitter. For many film photographers, Mardi Gras is the time to break out your favorite color film to capture the vibrancy of the season. Black and white film is usually a last resort, the one roll of film at the bottom of your bag late in the day or night.
NOLA Film Plug is seeking the photos you reluctantly shot on black and white through the season of Mardi Gras. Photos can be shot during any Mardi Gras between twelfth night and Mardi Gras day.
Photographers accepted to the show should plan on delivering pieces to the gallery at 1512 Melpomene mounted and framed no later than March 5th.
