PLEASE NOTE that this is a TRAVELING EXHIBITION with two locations: Brookgreen Gardens, SC; and New York, NY (for Award Winners Exhibition).

National Sculpture Society's 93rd Annual Awards Exhibition is open to NSS Fellows, Elected Sculptor Members, Associates, Patrons and Allied Professionals who dues are paid in full. PLEASE NOTE that representational work inspired by nature is preferred. All entries are subject to jury. Works previously exhibited in an Annual NSS Exhibition are ineligible. All work will be juried anonymously from electronically submitted images.

SIZE OF WORK: Sculpture must not exceed 100 lbs for sculpture in the round or 30 pounds for wall reliefs. Crated sculpture must be able to fit through NSS' gallery door: 79 inches tall x 35 inches wide.

COST/PROCESSING FEE:
After submitting, National Sculpture Society will contact artist by email or phone for the $50 submission fee. Submissions will not be finalized until payment is received. Artists may pay with credit card or check. Checks must be made out to National Sculpture Society and mailed to: National Sculpture Society, 6 East 39th Street, Suite 903, New York, NY 10016. If payment is not received, submission will be eliminated.

EXHIBITION LOCATIONS:
All accepted works will be on display at Brookgreen Gardens, SC: August 8 - October 25, 2026.

The 15 winners of the 93rd Annual Awards Exhibition will have their work travel and be exhibited in National Sculpture Society's headquarters in NYC: November 16, 2026 - January 22, 2027.

An exhibition catalog will be created for the show and a cataloging fee of $100 will be charged to each sculptor juried into the show. Each exhibitor will receive 4 copies of the catalog. Information about individual artists/works will be taken after acceptance into the show.

The 15 award winners will be announced at the Brookgreen Gardens, SC reception.

2026/2027 TOURING EXHIBITION CALENDAR

MARCH 13, 2026: Submission deadline.
MARCH 27: Notification mailed to artists.
APRIL 15: Catalogue material due (photos, artist statements, signed contracts)
JULY 7 - 25: Sculpture shipped to/received at Coastal Transfer & Storage in Georgetown, SC.
AUGUST 8: 93rd Annual Awards Exhibition opens at Brookgreen Gardens.
OCTOBER 24: Reception for 93rd Annual Awards Exhibition at Brookgreen Gardens. Award winners announced.
OCTOBER 26: 93rd Annual Awards Exhibition closes at Brookgreen Gardens.
OCTOBER 27 - NOVEMBER 3: Entire show is dismantled and all sculpture is re-crated in original crates.
NOVEMBER 4: All sculpture is picked up and shipped back to Coastal Transfer & Storage in Georgetown, SC in a dedicated truck.
NOVEMBER 5: The 15 Award-Winning sculptures are shipped to the NSS Gallery in NYC in a dedicated truck.
NOVEMBER 16: 93rd Annual Award Winners Exhibition opens at the NSS Gallery in NYC.
JANUARY 22, 2027: Closing Reception for 93rd Annual Award Winners Exhibition at the NSS Gallery in NYC.
JANUARY 24 - 30: Show is dismantled and all sculpture is re-crated in original crates. Artists may make arrangements to have their works shipped back to them from the NSS Gallery in NYC.

SHIPPING/RECEIVING/RETURN:
All works must be delivered in a crate that is suitable for shipping. No exceptions! (Cardboard boxes will not with-stand the travel & storage and will not be accepted).

All works must be shipped, at sculptor's expense, to Coastal Transfer & Storage, 3295 South Fraser Street, Georgetown, SC 29440.

At the conclusion of the exhibition's run at Brookgreen Gardens, 15 award-winning works will be re-crated and shipped to the NSS Gallery in NYC for the 93rd Award Winners Exhibition.

Artists not included in the 93rd Award Winners Exhibition may make arrangements to ship their work back from Coastal Transfer & Storage, 3295 South Fraser Street, Georgetown, SC 29440. Sculptors must pay for return shipment of their work from Brookgreen Gardens, SC.

NSS will pay for shipment of the 15 award-winning works included in the 93rd Annual Award Winners' Exhibition to the NSS Gallery in NYC.

If work is included in the 93rd Award Winners Exhibition, artists must pay for return shipment of their work from NYC at the conclusion of the show.

SALES:
Sculptures accepted in the exhibition are not required to be available for sale. Inquiries about purchasing works in the exhibition will be referred to Brookgreen Gardens. A commission of 25% will be charged on all sales. A courtesy discount of 10% will be given to Patron Members and taken off the top of the sale price; artists and Brookgreen Gardens will split the 10% discount. National Sculpture Society will receive no commission from sales. Prices will be established in this agreement and will not be subject to change.

RECEPTIONS:
A celebration reception will be held at Brookgreen Gardens on Saturday, October 24. A closing reception for the 93rd Annual Award Winners Exhibition will held at the NSS Gallery on January 22, 2027.
