Ballyhoo at the Zoo, Fine Art Fair

Artist Eligibility
- Open to all artists creating original fine art and craft.
- All artists must jury with the exception of previous year's MSAF award recipients.
- Artist must be 18 years or older.
- Artist must be in attendance for duration of the show.
- Not following Exhibition Rules may result in removal from the Ballyhoo and/or future RAC events.

Exhibition Rules
- RAC reserves the right to remove any work not suitable to public viewing and/or not in compliance with the rules at any time during the show.
- No work made from commercial kits or prefabricated pieces are allowed.
- No more than 25% of work exhibited can be reproductions. All reproductive works must be clearly labeled 'Reproduction'. It is preferred that photographs be signed and numbered.
- No 'sale' or 'discounted' signs/labels allowed.
- Artist may only exhibit works in the medium they were juried into.
- No pets allowed on RAcine Zoo grounds. Masks are required.
- Cancellations: 50% of booth fee refunds will be given for cancellations prior to May 1, 2021. Jury fee will not be refunded. All cancellations must be in writing and booth fees will be non-refundable after May 1, 2021.
- Wisconsin Sales Tax and Permit: Artists are required to have a Wisconsin State Sellers Permit and fill out Wisconsin State Tax Event form prior to set up. For permit, contact the Wisconsin Department of Revenue at:

- Artist must check in by 8am on Saturday, June 5, 2021 or space will be forfeited with no booth refunds.
- Artist must have booth(s) setup prior to 10am on Saturday, June 5, 2021.
- Artist may not take down prior to 4pm on Sunday, June 6, 2021. (In the case of severe weather, RAC will follow local weather radar and determine early closure of the show to allow artist to remove work/exhibits).
- All artist vehicles must be removed from the grounds prior to 9am on Saturday/Sunday.
- Artist vehicles will not be permitted onto the grounds for take down until after 4pm on Sunday. Artist booths will be required to be packed up and ready for loading before vehicles will be authorized to enter the grounds.

Artist Display Space
- Each booth will be 10'x10' display space with additional storage space provided.
- Booth spaces are not transferable. Single space fee is $180.
- Exhibitors will provide own tent, tables, chairs, displays.
- Tents/canopies must be white and adequately weighed down. No anchoring into paved surfaces allowed.
- Artists are required to remain until end of the fair each day: 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Saturday; 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Sunday.

- Selection Announcement will be made after April 15th. Booth Fees will be due by April 30th. Booth space on a 'First Come, First Serve' basis

The undersigned does hereby discharge the Racine Arts Council, Racine Zoo and all sponsoring organizations and individuals of and from all manner of actions, suits, damages, claims and demands whatsoever, in law or equate, from any loss or damage to the undersigned's property while in the possession, supervision or auspices of the Racine Zoo, the Racine Arts Council and its agents or representatives.
