One day art show on July 6 in conjunction with marketing and other community events scheduled by Westfield Wheaton for the July 4 holiday period.
Because of the short notice, this show is limited to those who participate in the MAA Gallery in Westfield Wheaton.
The sale will be from 10 am to 8 pm with setup occurring at 8:00 am and take-down after 8 pm. ALL pieces will need to be delivered and picked up that day at the set-up and take down times.
We will need help to set up/take down and also conduct sales during the day. Those participating in the show are expected to assist in some way.
The theme for the show is 'americana.' 'Americana' does not mean the piece must be 'patriotic'; instead it can be reflective of the summer season--typical activities, festivals, summer harvests, parades, beach scenes, etc.
The show will also have bin pieces and cards for sale; these must also feature the 'americana' theme as well.
We will use MAA's grey panels to display the pieces in the show, and so we will have space for about 60 pieces.
You may register up to 3 pieces right now, but depending upon the level of participation, I may need to reduce or increase the number of pieces allowed. I will post participants accordingly as registrations occur.
