MAA Member show for the Kensington Library, located at 4201 Knowles Avenue, Kensington, MD 20895.
Open to MAA members only. Only online show submissions accepted. (For directions on how to submit online registrations, see the article 'Registering your work online for MAA Shows' at http://montgomeryart.org/resources/). Please capitalize the first letter of each significant word in the title and media, and price should be entered with a $ and no cents ($225).
Display space is an area of the Kensington Library in Kensington, Maryland. This area is visible and open to the public. Any sales will be facilitated by the library staff.
Open to 5 artists only with 4-5 pieces depending upon size. No pieces larger than 22 inches x 28 inches and plexi-glass glazing required for any pieces larger than 11 inches x 14 inches. All must have hanging wires. No wet paintings.
Optional, the artist can also (but not instead) submit 3 miniatures. (outside dimension no bigger than 5X5 in or 4X6 in.). It's compulsory to bring little easels for them. They will be displayed in a locked window.
The first artists submitting entries meeting the stated criteria will be accepted for the show. Pieces will be on display about 1 month and can be for sale.
No reception, No commission.
Key Dates:
Entry Deadline: Friday, October 27, midnight
Delivery and show hanging: Saturday, November 4, 3 pm
Show End and Pickup: Saturday, November 25, 3 pm.
