This is a juried exhibit You may submit up to 3 works. Selected artists will have one or more pieces in the exhibit. Submission fees are non-refundable. Work may be representational or abstract. 2-dimensional works only.

Guidelines and helpful hints:
Submissions must be photographs of your original works. Take care to find or create good lighting to avoid glare, shadows and check the photograph against work for color-matching to best represent your work. All submitted photographs of works should be closely cropped to the image, please avoid showing the mat or frame. This will create a more cohesive online gallery presentation with focus on the work of the artist. If you need additional guidance, feel free to email [email protected] and someone will get back to you in a timely manner.

Delivery of selected works: Friday, October 2 from 4-6PM Saturday, October 3rd 10AM-12PM at MAC, 40 Railroad Avenue, Milford, CT 06460
live & virtual receptions:
Virtual Exhibit: will launch on Thursday, October 15th and awards will be announced at that time. Gallery of works will be accessible at milfordarts.org through November 19th. Winners will have additional promotion with a separate highlight video on social media.
There will be a People’s Choice award to be announced at the close of the exhibit. Vote by using the form on the website.

Live Exhibit Viewing: Due to Covid19, the MAC will not be able to hold formal events or receptions in our space; however, we will open our doors twice a week so that you may view The Story Of Women starting on Thursday, October 15th through Thursday, November 19th for this exhibit.

For these six weeks, we hope that you will support artists and the MAC by visiting during the designated times of Thursday from 5-7pm and Saturdays from 10am-12pm. While you’re out, enjoy a meal at one of our local restaurants or shop at our local businesses.
