Taste of MidTown ART FAIR

FINE ART OR CRAFTS. We have two different distinct booths at the event (1) Fine Arts and (2) Crafts. The Fine Art booths are juried, the crafts are not. We represent exceptional fine art for sale as a destination event for collectors and enthusiasts. Fine Artists will be judged, and awarded in special categories. Winners will receive not only receive exceptional media recognition, plaque, booth signage, and also waived future show fees. We will limit the total number of accepted Fine Art booths in each category to maximize exposure, placements, and quality of show.

JURY FEE (Fine Art Applications Only). The ?jury fee? is included and part of the application fee.

SHOW FEE:

Fine Art booth fee, if accepted, for a 10 x 10 space is set at $250. Optional electrical is a single 110 electrical outlet limited to 10 amp service and costs $100. additional.

Craft Booth fee, if accepted, for a 10 x 10 space is set at $275. Optional electrical is a single 110 electrical outlet limited to 10 amp service and costs $100. additional. While craft booths are not juried, The Producer reserves the right to reject any application for any reason. Weapons and paraphernalia sales are not permitted.

Additional Booth Space: If additional space is needed, either additional space 10x10, or if you can-not fit in your space, add $110.

Additional Electrical: For additional electrical requirements, contact us, there is an additional fee of $100 per 10amp add-on.

ALL FEES ARE DUE at the time of application. If you are not accepted, your full payment will be promptly returned. Make all checks payable to TASTE OF MIDTOWN, LLC. We will notify you within 10 days of receiving your application regarding acceptance. All artists accepted will also be immediately listed on the event website at www.midtowntaste.com Space for existing art retailers, restaurants, food trucks, bars, businesses, and organizations are available (see ?taste application? for details).

DEADLINES AND RUSH FEES: All applications and payment are due BY April, 1st. At the discretion of the Producer, an application may be considered for acceptance with a LATE FEE of $100. We will notify you within 10 days of receiving your application regarding acceptance. ?Early Bird? discount: take $50 off if application is received by December 31st (see details below).

EARLY BIRD APPLICATION/BENEFITS: If your application is received prior to December 31st you get these added benefits: (1) Take $50 off your fee. (2) You are guaranteed a corner booth space. (3) You get first pick of your booth space (pick in order applications are received). (4) Immediate listing on event website with link to your website! (5) Photo listing next to your name on our website.

A BIOGRAPHY: We want to know about you and your work. Our press materials will list all artists and craft artists. Fine Artists will be also provided with a brief bio. A web directory will list websites and contact information. We will promote our artists, including how to find them in all of our materials. Please include a biography on you, your inspirations, why you are an artist and how you make your work. This could be beneficial in acquiring additional press for you during your events. Please limit your information to one page.

S.A.S.E: A self-addressed stamped envelope IS REQUIRED to return your photos and materials. Please make sure that the envelope is large enough with enough postage to return the materials you mailed to us. We can-not be responsible for lost, missing, or damaged materials.

CANCELLATIONS: If you need to cancel for any reason, it will be due, in writing, not later than May 1st. No refunds will be given after May 1st (no exceptions), however, the Producer reserves the right to issue a credit for a future show. Please note because materials will be printed and distributed, late cancellations are strongly discouraged.

BALANCES: will be due in our office by May 1st. Open balance after May 1st may result in the Producer cancelling your involvement. Under cancellation, any payment(s) already received will be non-refundable.

E-MAIL: An email address is required on your application, please note that confirmations/acceptance letters, updates and announcements will be sent to you electronically. Also, please print and make sure that you make your letters and any numbers clear in your e-mail address so it is not returned.

WAITING LIST: Please note, all applications and positions are ?first-come-first-served?. We have an exceptional show and will limit our Fine Art booths. If your application is received, and all positions are filled, we will immediately notify you and give you the option to be added to a wait-list or an immediate return of your application and fee. While we will limit Craft Booths, once filled, there will be no wait list. Apply early to ensure consideration. We will notify you within 10 days of receiving your application regarding acceptance. So, no waiting to find out and you can plan your schedule!

WEATHER: Our show is held outdoors and go on rain or shine. No credits or refunds will be issued if the show is affected by forces of nature beyond our control. Please check our website or contact the office for information.
