Open Call for New England Artists
ATTENTION! All entries must reflect the theme of this show: 'Uncommon Merits and Awards' to be considered.
We all know it is standard to win prizes for anything from best in show to commendation for valor on the battlefield. But what about the many non-traditional milestones that may go unrecognized? Whether they be personal, community oriented, political, or cosmic, we ask that your approach to the merits and awards theme be humorous and/or light hearted.
Artists working in 2-D and 3-D imagery residing in New England are invited to participate. All entries will be considered as long as they relate to the theme.
This will be a regional juried show, curated by Amy Johnquest and Jill St. Coeur. Exhibition dates are Sept. 6 through Oct. 24 2018. With an opening reception on Sept. 6 from 5:30 - 7:30 at the Holyoke Community College, Taber Art Gallery, Holyoke, Mass
Submission deadline July 1st.
There's a one time entry fee of $10 (used to directly support all expenses incurred with this exhibition) through PayPal. This includes up to 4 entries/digital images
Delivery Dates: Aug 2, 3, & 4 (times TBA)
