Loft Artists Association 10th Annual Juried Exhibition

The Loft Artist Association is pleased to announce an open call for entries for our 10th Annual Fall Juried Exhibition. Our juror is Kimberly Henrikson, the Executive Director of the Center for Contemporary Printmaking. All entries will be submitted and reviewed via EntryThingy. The Show dates are Saturday, September 9 - Sunday, October 8, 2023. Deadlines include August 15 for entries, August 22 for artist notifications, and August 27-28 for artwork delivery. An Opening Reception and Awards Ceremony will be held on Saturday, September 9 from 5-7 PM. The theme is open, and all artists are invited to submit.

Juror
Kimberly Henrikson is in her 6th year as Executive Director at the Center for Contemporary Printmaking (CCP) after having previously held a seat on the CCP board and the Artist-in-Residence committee.
Her involvement in the non-profit and fine art printmaking community has continued to expand and develop over the course of the past 15 years. Before coming to CCP, she founded her own business, the Yvonne Brandt Art Advisory based in New Canaan, Connecticut, which provided art advising services for private individuals. Prior to that, Kimberly supervised a team at the non-profit digital image provider, Artstor, based in New York City, where she managed the training and support services for licensing institutions in the Higher Ed and museum community around the world.
She has also held various roles focused on client relationship management for both creative and technology organizations in New York City, including Yahoo, HotJobs.com, a fashion design house, and a midtown art gallery.
For more than 12 years, Kimberly has been involved with the Print Club of New York, a membership group of print collectors in the New York City area for which she holds the position of Membership chair after eight years as President for the organization. She also serves on the National Advisory Council for the Palmer Museum of Art at Penn State University and the Advisory Board for the Norwalk Art Space with leaders in the arts community of Fairfield County.
Kimberly received a BA in Art History from Penn State University and served two years as President of the Penn State College of Arts and Architecture Alumni Society Board. Currently, Kimberly resides in New Canaan, CT with her husband and son.
