The non-profit cultural organization Photonisos Arts & Culture announces the Open Call for the 1st International Mute Photo Festival (IMPhF 2027), taking place in Samos, Greece.
Theme: "Nature ate the pixels"
In an era dominated by digital mediation and high-definition screens, IMPhF proposes an aesthetic return to silence, abstraction, and materiality. The exclusive photographic medium for IMPhF consists of low-resolution children’s thermal print cameras, turning an accessible toy into a contemporary artistic tool.
