Black-and-white photography...the original and purest form of photography. Whereas a color photograph may depict the reality of a subject, black-and-white depicts the soul of that subject and forces the viewer to look more deeply at the image he or she is seeing.
A special monochrome-only photography issue of Level 25 Artjournal will be published online in October of 2014.
Titled “Colorless 2014” this special edition will be the inaugural issue of an annual Level 25 Artjournal showcasing the fabulous works of photographers worldwide.
ALL submissions will be included in “Colorless 2014,” offering photographers an unprecedented chance to show off their talents and be discovered in an arts e-magazine that is quickly becoming one of the most popular on the Internet.
Your feature in “Colorless 2014” will include several images of your photography; a link to your website and your artist’s statement.
As the name suggests, “Colorless 2014” submissions must include your best monochrome-only photography. No color or selective color submissions will be allowed. All photos must be entirely in black-and-white.
Additionally, all submissions are automatically entered into Level 25 Artjournal’s year-end “Best of…” contest; a chance for cash prizes and, of course, bragging rights.
