Eligibility: Works previously exhibited at K Space Contemporary are not eligible. Entries must be original works of art completed within the last 2 years. Failure to comply with the following submission guidelines may disqualify your entry.
Entry Fee $10. Plus, Artists must be (or become) a member of K Space Contemporary (KSC) to participate. Join or Renew Online Here. Or Select one of the Membership options in the entry system when you complete your entry. Student and Senior (age 65+) Memberships are $20, Individual Memberships are $35.
If you do not wish to pay through the entry system, you may call and pay over the phone (361-887-6834) or pay in person at K Space Contemporary, 623 N. Chaparral St., Corpus Christi, TX 78401.

Number of Works & Format: Each Artist may submit 1-2 works. Works are juried from digital images uploaded to the entry form. Jurors will individually view and score each work of art. Artists may submit one image for each 2D work of art and two images for each 3D work of art. 40-50 top scoring works will be selected for exhibition.
Media: All visual art media accepted. Artists must be available to install complicated works. Artists must exhibit original works of art; we do not exhibit reproductions or copies. Video works will be exhibited by projection or on a television via thumb drive depending on available space.
Size Limitation: Two-dimensional works must not exceed 5 feet (60 inches) in either direction. Three-dimensional works must fit through a 40in x 83in doorway and must be manageable by two people.
Awards: Best of Show will receive a solo exhibition. Second and Third Place will receive cash awards.
Sales: All works must be For Sale. KSC collects payment and retains 40% commission. Be sure to INCLUDE GALLERY COMMISSION when pricing your work.
Promotion & Use of Images: Selecting YES in the PUBLICITY OK? blank gives K Space Contemporary permission to use your work(s) of art in exhibition promotion materials (website, social media, event calendars, print materials). Artists maintain copyright of all works selected for the exhibition. Artists are credited in promotional materials whenever possible.

Info for Accepted Works:
Delivery: Hand-Deliver or Ship accepted works to K Space Contemporary, 623 N. Chaparral Street, Corpus Christi, Texas 78401 by Friday, Nov. 20th at 5 pm. Artwork may be delivered Nov. 13-15 during regular business hours or Nov. 18-20 from 11 am to 5 pm.
Framing Requirements: 2-D works must be properly prepared for exhibition with wire securely attached to the back. Works with glazing must use Plexi-glass or equivalent. Only white, off-white or black mats are acceptable. We prefer that drawings and prints be framed for protection; however, we will exhibit works on paper using magnets or clips. Unframed paintings on canvas must be painted around the edges in solid black, white or grey or with continued image. The following are not accepted: wet paint, fragile frames, colored mats, and thick, bulky, decorative frames that are not part of the work of art.
Label: Each work of art must arrive with labeling securely attached to the back of frame or bottom of sculpture. Label must include name, email address, phone number, title, media, date, retail price. Info requested in the form below will be used for exhibition labels.
