Krasl Artisan Market 2016

HOW TO APPLY:

- Apply on line to http:krasl.org by midnight, EST, Wednesday, September 30, 2016.
- Applications will be accepted online only. Paper and walk-in applications are not permitted.
- Submit one application per category.
- There is a ten dollar ($10) APPLICATION FEE per category entry. You can pay with PayPal, or you can mail a check to the Krasl Art Center to arrive by September 30, 2016.
- There is a 35% COMMISSION on artwork sold during the Artisan Market.
- Any return shipping costs will be deducted from the artist's check.

Items required for application:
- A brief Artist Statement explaining artistic technique and process used to create your art.

- Three (3) digital images of your work per category with no personal identifying information in the image itself. Image must be representative of artwork exhibited.

- Price, brief description and material for each image.

- Accepted artist's images may be used for marketing purposes.

TERMS OF ENTRY:
- All entries will be juried.
- Artists must exhibit only in the medium in which he/she has been accepted.
- Collaborators who are equally involved in the creative process may be listed on the application.
- All entries must be original and of the artist's own creation.
- Commercially made products will not be accepted. No buy/sell accepted. No cottage industry (art work created by others in addition to artist or under artist's supervision).
- Reproductions must be clearly labeled 'Reproduction' or 'Limited Edition Reproduction.' This notice must appear on each item.
- Artwork must be prepared for display. 2D work must be mounted and wired for potential hanging. Matted unframed work may be displayed in our flip files. 3D work must be self supporting or be able to be placed on a pedestal.
- No work will be accepted that requires the artist to be present for display. However, artists may bring display units (such as for jewelry, etc.) which may be used at the discretion of the set-up committee. Please be sure your name, phone number, etc. in on display unit(s). Display of artwork is done at the sole discretion of the Artisan Market Set-up Committee.
