55th Old Island Days Art Festival

Old Island Days Festival important dates:

Show Dates: Feb. 22 & 23, 2020 -- 10 AM - 5 PM each day

This show in its 55th year and draws tourists, day trippers, winter residents and locals alike. Crowds swell on days with cruise ships as we are just blocks from the cruise ports. The setting in Old Town Key West, is just one block from famous Duval Street and is set amid popular tourist attractions and the beautiful historic Old Town.

EXHIBIT SPACES
Spaces are 10 x 10 and limited 10 x 15's. Natural corner spaces are limited but we try to accommodate corner requests by allowing for more space in between certain booths to create a corner. If we are unable to accommodate a corner space, you will be refunded $75. Storage space is limited in some booth areas but management tries to accommodate all requests. Indicate booth size.

BOOTH SIZES AND FEES:
10 x 10 = $235
10 x 10 corner = $310
10 x 15 = $355 (limited)
10 x 15 corner = $430 (very limited - email director first)

Artists are to use a white tent and exceptions are to be approved by director. Artists are expected to keep a professional display and minimal excess storage area. Artists with areas between tents are asked to share space and keep a neat area.

RULES
All artwork must be original, juried artwork and must be in the category submitted and accepted by jury. Old Island Days Art Festival has zero tolerance for buy/sell or production work. Work from kits, molds, patterns or prefabricated is not approved for exhibit. Committee reps will view the work during the show and Artists not in compliance may be asked to leave or not be invited back.

REPRODUCTIONS/ORIGINALS
It is the intent of the committee to showcase original artwork. Artists are to display over 50% of their work in original art. Work hung on walls should reflect this or higher percentage of original work. Retouched giclees are not considered original art. All framed reproductions should be labeled as such. Greeting cards and small 'bread & butter' type items must be displayed in the rear of your booth, not in a prominent display towards the front.

Artists must only display art in category juried. (ex: no jewelry in booth not juried in jewelry)

Artists must show ID at registration and are expected to attend the entire show and comply with all show rules that will be sent upon acceptance. (see prospectus and rules and info on www.KeyWestArtCenter.com for more info)

We require 3 images of artwork and 1 of booth display. Upload all images in similar size with a minimum width of 500 pixels and a maximum of 1920 pixels on longest side.

APPLICATION FEE:
A non-refundable application fee of $45 must be paid at the time of application submission via the PayPal button.

Upon acceptance booth fee must be paid by December 1, 2019, to secure your space. Payment and other instructions will be included in acceptance notifications.
