Prints of Darkness: A Spooky Showcase of Dark Art
Jacoby is looking for LOCAL artists, within the Greater St. Louis Area, to submit artwork for an upcoming exhibit - Prints of Darkness - Showing in October and November 2023 in Jacoby's Main Gallery.
Prints of Darkness is a celebration of spooky, weird, DARK, scary, and curious artwork in honor of the grand opening of Jacoby's new DARKROOM and Experimental Film Photography Studio. Please submit Photography, Printmaking, ANY and ALL media that explores the DARK and SPOOKY!
Juried by: JAC's resident artist and Darkroom Program manager, Jeffrey Sass, and JAC's volunteer exhibit committee.
Awards for Best in Show, 2nd and 3rd place. Winners receive Darkroom Program Gift Certificates. The darkroom program has opportunities for all artists to transform their work into Experimental Film and Prints.
Submit 1-5 images of your work for the exhibition. Accepted pieces MUST be ready to exhibit and delivered/picked up at Jacoby. No shipping of artwork is accepted.
The entry fee is $25. and supports exhibitions and artist resource programs at Jacoby Arts Center a 501c3 nonprofit dedicated to enriching lives through art. If payment is an obstacle please email [email protected] for a submission fee scholarship.
