IMPRESSIONS OF ARIZONA
Entry Deadline: Oct. 31, 2021
Juror: Lauren Rabb
Former Curator of the University of Arizona Museum of Art and current Curator of Tucson Medical Center's Healing Art Program
This Juried Call to Artists invites entries from professional artists living and working in the United States and Canada to submit their entries to 'Impressions of Arizona,' in celebration of the great state of Arizona.. This is an exciting opportunity to have your artwork published in an art book.
Arizona is a state of visual contrasts, with large rolling monsoon clouds that give way to breathtaking rainbows. From the grandeur of the Grand Canyon, with snow in higher elevations, to the summer heat of the unique Sonoran desert, Arizona provides a wide array of visual inspiration for artists. Because of this outstanding beauty, Arizona is a national and international destination and we are inviting artists from across the USA and Canada to enter this Juried Call to Artists.
Whether an external representation or an internal expression about living in or visiting the state, the theme of Impressions of Arizona may be openly interpreted by artists in their own unique style (from abstraction to realism and all manner in between) and in a wide variety of medium that are best represented in book form.
This is an excellent opportunity for artists to have their artwork published in book form. There is no additional cost for artists to participate in the book beyond the entrance fee. Each artwork will be printed on a single page and highlight the artist name, and artwork details. An index, located in the back of the book, will feature the artist name, artwork details, contact information and the artists Impressions of Arizona statement.
