Participation is open to all Michigan artists 18 years or older. Works in all media will be considered. All artwork must be original, created solely by the artist
Late applications will only be considered for last minute openings.
HVA's Arts and Greens Holiday Art Market is a juried event. PAST PARTICIPATION IS NOT A GUARANTEE OF ACCEPTANCE. Only fine art and quality crafts of original design and execution will be accepted. No team logos or other copyrighted images are allowed.
The majority of spaces are approximately 10'X10'. If your display apparatus or fixtures require an exact 10x10 space, please be sure that your booth shot shows the need. Tent frames are allowed; tent canopies are not. There are also several A-frame spaces available (see next paragraph).

We will do our best to honor all requests. (Indicate your preference next to your name on the signature line.) Final decisions will be assigned based on booth shots and first come, first served.
Electricity is available. Participants must supply a heavy-duty extension cord (24' or more) labeled with their name. Use low-voltage lighting ONLY. The greenhouse environment provides ample natural light during the day but becomes a little dim when overcast and can be dark in the late afternoon.
Booth-sharing is allowed ONLY IF THE WORK IS COLLABORATIVE or by special arrangement with the show organizers (separate applications and application fees are required by all individuals seeking this variance.) The Arts and Greens team reserves the right to limit or reject any work it considers unsuitable, or that was not submitted for the jury.
The BLG is a heated greenhouse. Remember this is Michigan! Please dress in layers and wear warm shoes for your comfort.
RULES OF PARTICIPATION:
All work exhibited must be original and handcrafted by the artist. The HVA reserves the right to decline any applicant. Booths must be set up before 4:30 pm on Friday, Nov. 22. The greenhouse closes promptly at 5:00 pm.
Applicants are responsible for:
- providing their displays, tables, chairs, fixtures, low-wattage lighting, and sales bags.
- monitoring, staffing, and securing their property at all times.
- collection and payment of Michigan sales taxes.
- breaking down booth NO EARLIER than 3:30 pm Sunday, Nov. 25
- vacating BLG no later than 5 pm Sunday.
An application is a commitment to the show. Failure to comply with rules may result in expulsion from the show and, at the discretion of HVA, loss of fees paid.
WAIVER/RELEASE: By signing this application, the participant hereby agrees to all terms above and that Huron Valley Arts (HVA), The Art Shop (TAS), and Bogie Lake Greenhouses BLG) shall not be liable for any loss, injuries or damages sustained by any participants, his/her heirs, or any person or organization, arising out of your participation in any event, including the loss or damage to work exhibited or on-premises. Participants hereby fully and forever release HVA, TAS, BLG, and their volunteers or staff from any and all causes of action, claims, and demands of any nature that arise out of any event.
