Ebb & Flow Festival invites artists working across disciplines to join us for this year’s edition centered on global warming and climate consciousness.
This year’s festival will take place on June 28 at Vista Hermosa Park, and we are seeking 5–6 artists or artist groups to be featured.
As our planet continues to shift, we are seeking work that responds to the urgency, complexity, and emotional landscape of climate change. We are especially interested in artists whose practices engage with environmental storytelling, ecological systems, sustainability, climate justice, and the lived experience of a warming world.
We welcome proposals from choreographers, performers, musicians, visual artists, installation artists, and interdisciplinary creators whose work can activate public and/or site-responsive spaces. Projects may be newly developed or existing works adapted to engage with the festival theme and environment.
This year’s Ebb & Flow Festival is an invitation to reflect on what is being lost, what is being transformed, and what futures are still possible. We are interested in work that holds space for both urgency and imagination, works that challenge, mourn, celebrate, and reimagine our relationship to the earth.
An artist stipend will be provided. A range between $300 and $500 based on the scale of your project and at the discretion of the curators. HDD encourages artists to apply as individuals or collectives. Limit power usage to ensure green performances.
We are looking for:
5–6 selected artists or artist groups
Work engaging with climate change, ecology, or environmental justice
Site-responsive or immersive performance concepts
Interdisciplinary and collaborative practices

Projects adaptable to outdoor park environments
