CALL TO ARTISTS - Walking Each Other Home, Exploring Where We Belong and How We Find It

Organization: Guilford Art Center Location Guilford, CT Entry Fee Free Entry Deadline May 31, 2026
Inspired by the Ram Dass quote, “We’re all just walking each other home,” this exhibition invites artists to reflect on the many definitions of home. Home may exist as a physical space, or as something we build together through care, connection, and shared experience. Artists are encouraged to explore how a sense of "home" is experienced; through the places we inhabit, the history we carry, and the people who shape our lives. Artists are invited to submit up to two (2) works in all mediums, interpreting the theme as broadly or as literally as they choose, and to consider how home might exist not only as a destination, but as a journey we create with and for one another.

ENTRY REQUIREMENTS: We are seeking to display artworks representing what the concept of “home” means to you. This may be interpreted as loosely or as literally as you feel. We invite you to submit two pieces via email to [email protected] by May 31, 2026. Works will be juried by our in-house exhibitions team and artists will be notified about selected works by Friday, June 12, 2026.
