GSWS 2026 Annual Online Member Exhibition

Eligibility:
Open to all GSWS active members residing in NJ, NY, PA or DE
No paintings previously shown in any GSWS exhibition.
Diptychs and triptychs must be contained within one digital image.
No size restriction on the original artwork submitted.
GSWS reserves the right to disqualify any entry for any reason.
Paintings must have been completed within the last 5 years.

Each artist may submit:
one water media piece
one non-water media piece
(only one painting per category)

Artwork Pricing:
Submitted artwork MUST be for sale
Set price for unframed, unmatted artwork
GSWS will coordinate the sale between any interested buyer and the artist
Artist and buyer will coordinate arrangements for delivery of the artwork.
Artist will receive a check within 30 days of the sale.

Artwork Requirements: Enter only one painting per category; up to two paintings allowed per artist.

Water Media Category:
Artwork to be done only in aqueous media: watercolor, gouache, acrylic (on paper)
Artwork must be done on paper ( Eg. yupo, watercolor paper, bristol, illustration board)
Any use of pencil, ink, collage must not be dominant in the work.
No published images or reproductions; collage pieces must be original and created by the artist.

Non-Water Media Category:
Artwork may be oil, pastel, ink, encaustic, hand-pulled prints, pencil, or acrylic (on canvas or wood).
Acceptable substrates include canvas, paper, board, wooden or aluminum panel.

Online Digital Image Requirements:
Images must be in JPEG format, maximum file size up to 5MB.
Image size must be at least 1900 pixels on the longest side
Images that are not correctly formatted or sized are liable to exclusion
Image must be correctly oriented (vertical or horizontal).
Image of artwork only, do not show mat or frame.
