50th Anniversary Juried Exhibit Out of the Wild

You may submit one or two images, but only one may be selected for the exhibition. Mats must be white or off-white. A small colored inner mat is acceptable. Hand delivery of accepted works only. The minimum painting size is 9 inches x 12 inches. Frame size must be no larger than 60 inches in height or width. All artwork must be framed and under glass or plexiglass. Artwork 36 inches or larger must be framed under Plexiglass.

About your digital image
For the best presentation, image files must be jpg format, correctly oriented (vertical or horizontal), at least 1200 pixels on the long side, minimum resolution 300 dpi and the file size no larger than 3MB.
Show only the image, no mat or frame. No digital enhancement is allowed. Name the image file: artist’s name, submission 1 or 2, and title of painting in this format: smith.jane1_title.jpg; smith.jane2_title.jpg.

Entry Fees
GSWS Members (with 2020 dues paid) $15 for 1st submission, $25 for 2 submissions.
Non-Members* $45 for 1st submission, $55 for 2 submissions.

*Non-Members will be granted GSWS membership through 2021 with their paid entry fee. This will allow artists to participate in the annual GSWS members show the GSWS Art Sale and other GSWS events.
Please make sure your 2020 GSWS membership is paid before you complete your entry. Open to all GSWS members 18 years and over that are NJ, NY, PA, or DE residents.

All entry fees are non-refundable. Payment must be made at the time of your online entry with a credit or debit card. If submitting your entry via email, mail a check, made out to GSWS, to Chris Valente, 1900 JFK Blvd, Apt 2009, Phila, PA 19103.

All artwork must be for sale.

GSWS reserves the right to disqualify an entry for any reason, including but not limited to, poorly matted or framed work or work that is not presented professionally.

Entry Procedures
Entries must be submitted via EntryThingy or emailed no later than midnight, July 11, 2020.

Sale of Artwork
All artwork must be for sale and be available for the duration of the exhibition. D&R Greenway will add 35% to the price you provide for your artwork. This is a donation to D&R Greenway from the art purchaser and will encourage sales. Please price your artwork with this in mind. GSWS will take no commission. A check will be sent to the artist within 30 days after the close of the exhibition. Procedures for the on-line purchase of art are forthcoming.

Notification
Accepted artists will be notified via email.
Selected entries will be posted on www.gswcs.com by midnight, Monday, July 20, 2020.

Media/Public Relations Release
D&R Greenway and GSWS reserve the right to use digital images of accepted and exhibited artwork for promotion, publicity, and the on-line exhibit.

Liability
GSWS and D&R Greenway will do their utmost to protect work in its possession, but the organizations are not responsible for damage or loss.

D&R Greenway is generally open Mondays through Fridays from 9:00am to 5:00pm.
