1.The Gallery requests a biography about The Artist and their work for this exhibition upon notification of acceptance into exhibit.

2. The Artist hereby warrants that he or she is the sole legal owner of the artwork exhibited and that he or she has the full right and authority to enter into this Agreement and to grant the rights herein granted, free and clear of any lies, claims, or encumbrance. The artist agrees that they will be responsible for any fees and legal actions by a third party if there are any copyright infringements or they are not the sole owner of the artwork. The gallery will be held harmless in these matters.

3. The Artist will supply the necessary hardware needed for any special installation, as well as supervising and installation of the artwork. Special Art work shall be determined by mutual agreement between The Gallery and The Artist. The Artist shall be responsible for delivery of the art to, and retrieval from the The Gallery.

4. The Gallery and their agents shall not be liable for any damage during transit or as a result of an act of god or war, or left after the designated date of retrieval. The Gallery shall be responsible for insuring the art while it is showcased up to but not to exceed the portion the artist would have received in the event of a sale.

5. In the event of a sale of artwork displayed at The Gallery, Gallery 66ny shall present payment to The Artist and shall notify The Artist within 48 hours of the sale via telephone, email, or SMS (text) message. The Gallery shall have 30 days from the end of the exhibit to deliver payment to The Artist.

6. In the event of a sale, gallery 66ny shall be entitled to a commission of 50% of the sale price. Any commissioned work engaged in with The Artist shall be subject to The Gallery's normal commission guidelines when The Gallery has been responsible for the sale.

7. This Agreement has been delivered and executed in the State of New York and shall for all purposes be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of New York, without giving effect to the conflicts of law principles thereof. The Parties hereby consent to and submit to personal jurisdiction over each of them by the federal court or Supreme Court of the State of New York, venued in New York County, which shall be the exclusive venue for all disputes arising in connection with this agreement.

8. This Agreement constitutes the entire agreement between the parties and supersedes any prior or contemporaneous oral or written representations regarding the subject matter hereof. This Agreement may not be modified except by a written instrument signed by the parties herein. There are no restrictions, promises, warranties, covenants, or undertakings other than those expressly set forth or referred to herein.
