Artist Participation
Preference will be given to Greater Gresham Area artists of all ages, however, we may include the surrounding area depending on the number of submissions. Please note: artist must reside within 30 miles of Gresham, Oregon for in-person delivery of accepted works to the gallery space.

Submission Information
Please read the following guidelines carefully before submitting your work:
1. Number of Submissions: Artists may enter up to three (3) pieces per show.
2. Submission Fee: a $30.00 submission fee allows for the entry of up to three original artworks.
3. Commission: GALA retains a 20% commission on all sales.
4. Venues for Displaying Artist Accepted Work: Gresham Council Chambers Visual Arts Gallery and GALA online galleries.

We want to see your work at its best! To help us review your submission, please ensure your images meet the following criteria.
Content Restrictions: When preparing your artwork, please be aware that we cannot accept pieces that feature nudity, in any degree, or any content that depicts or implies sexual acts or innuendos.
No Changes After Submission: Once you submit an image, do not alter the artwork itself, except for adding your signature. The size and price information on your entry label must match what was originally submitted if your artwork is accepted.
Permission to Use Images: You must grant permission for GALA to use the digital images of your accepted artwork.
Quality Matters: Your images must be high quality. Poor-quality images could lead to your artwork being rejected. Please do not use filters. If the submitted image does not accurately represent the quality of the actual artwork, GALA reserves the right to exclude it from the show.
Digital Submission Only: Submit professional digital images in JPEG format using the online submission form by the deadline.
Image Specifications: The JPEG file should be between 1200 and 1800 pixels.
How to Name Files: Label each JPEG file using this format: Artist First Name Artist Last Name. Name of Work. Examples: 'Mary Smith Tropical' or 'Mary Smith Old Boats'
Important: Images that are not labeled correctly might be returned and not considered for the show.
