Edgewater Gallery is a vibrant artist-owned collective nestled in the heart of historic downtown Fort Bragg, California.
Since opening our doors in 2003, we've been a cornerstone of the Mendocino Coast art community, proudly celebrating over two decades of creative collaboration.
Our gallery showcases the diverse talents of local artists, offering an eclectic mix of fine art and craft. From oil and acrylic paintings to ceramics, sculpture, fine woodwork, photography, mixed media, and unique items like decorative kites and handcrafted cards, there's something to captivate every art enthusiast.
We are currently looking for new members. As a member, your obligations include working in the gallery two-three days a month, attending one meeting a month, and working with other members to run the gallery. The commission to the gallery from sales of your work is 16% plus you pay monthly dues of $80 to $150, depending on the size of your space. While members don't have to be local to the Mendocino coast, they must be willing to come to Ft Bragg every month to meet their work obligations at the gallery.
To apply for gallery membership, please submit six images along with the application questions below. If your work is a potential match for our gallery, you will be invited to share your work in person and participate in a short interview/chat with gallery members. If you are voted in after the initial interview, there is a three-month trial period, during which you and we decide if we are a match. If you are then voted in as a full member, you pay a one-time $250 membership fee.
This call has a rolling deadline. Applications that arrive each month will be considered the following month.
