THEME: Global Warming is REAL: Efforts Inspired by Global Warming Changes

Broaden the Conversation

As scientific reports and photographs reveal changes in our planet's atmosphere, we become increasingly aware of how global warming impacts us both now and in the future. We are also seeing a rise in positive initiatives aimed at reducing pollution, protecting endangered plants and animals, and mitigating the warming effects on our oceans. Earth Day serves as a perfect example of how one person's efforts in 1969 sparked a conversation that led to a movement focused on addressing the harmful actions taken that affect our planet. You can observe the positive impact of Earth Day from its inception to the present. As awareness of both the challenges we face and the efforts to combat them grows, we encourage artists to draw inspiration from the urgency of educating others about this important theme, as well as from the excitement and relief brought about by the innovative efforts to preserve our magnificent planet impacting past and now.

There are no specific limitations on expression; however, your artwork should be contemporary, created using wax-based media, and related to the theme of the exhibit. The core of this exhibition will be a creative interpretation of your thoughts and feelings on this subject expressed through art. The juror will select works based on how well they interpret the 'Global Warming is REAL' theme and the overall quality of the submitted artwork.
