ARTISAN SHOW POLICIES:

All artists are encouraged to demonstrate the creation of their products as well as display and sell. Sales tax is the sole responsibility of the artisan.

WHO MAY SHOW:

Artisans: Items must be handmade and/or designed by you, the seller. You may also have shop members that help you run your business, as long as you, the seller, are making and/or designing your items.

Makers: A maker is a seller who is physically making the items listed for sale in their shop. A maker might design their items in addition to making them, or they might follow a pattern or template that they did not design. Regardless, makers must be making their items with their own hands (or tools).

Designers: A designer is a seller who has come up with an original design, pattern, sketch, template, prototype, or plan to be produced by in-house or with a production partner.

Vintage Sellers: A vintage seller must sell items that are considered vintage and collectable.

This is a juried show. A select group of community members will be judging the applications. Please note, we are looking for a variety of mediums and price points, which will be an intricate part of the selection process. We are looking for exhibitors to include: Clay, glass, metal, fiber, wood, paper, literary, music and more.

First; set up your account as an artist with Entrythingy. Then find the JCMM call to enter. Please provide a very brief statement (180 characters or less) that describes the materials and techniques used to create your artwork. This statement may be read to the jurors.

Please provide the name of your business or the name you would like to be listed as in our event.

Upon completing and submitting your entry form you will need to pay your Entry Fee. Your images will not be eligible for jury consideration until your Application and Entry Fee payment have been received. You may pay the Entry Fee by using the PayPal button in the EntryThingy form or by mailing a printed copy of your entry form along with your Entry Fee ($25.00) checks for registration. Booth fees are: Single - $40.00, Double - $80, 'I need a booth space' - $80.00.

If mailing, send entry form and payments to: Kim Wilson, 6420 Castle Rock Ln, Dittmer, MO 63023. Download, print, sign and mail your application and check and arrange for jury photos (hard copy or emailed digital, or enclosed thumb drive). Checks must be included to complete registration.

All fees must be paid prior to August 30, 2019, (late entries are $5.00 extra). Entry fees are non-refundable. Booth fees are refundable up to September 2, 2019. After September 2, 2019, booth fees will not be refunded for any reason.

Special Outreach Opportunity:
We are looking for vendors who are interested in hosting/teaching a workshop. We hope to have workshops and demos throughout the day, so please contact us if you are interested. We are looking to discount vendor fees for your services.

Check In and Set Up:
Unloading and set up will take place starting at 6:00 am. Cars will be removed to artist

There will be temporary parking available while unloading and once unloaded there will be a shuttle transporting artists back to the exhibition space. Please do not start to set up your booth until your car has been moved.

Artists will check in on site prior to unloading.

Spaces will be pre-assigned and non-transferable

Upon check in artists will receive a goodie bag with snacks and more

Tear Down:
Teardown will begin at the conclusion of the event, 6:00pm. Early tear down will not be permitted for any reason.

Electricity:
Electricity is available at a first come first serve and you must provide your own 75 ft. exterior rated extension cord.

Tents:
A minimal number of booth spaces are available for rent at an additional charge of $40.00 per space.

Garbage:
Trash bags will be provided and picked up at the conclusion to the event. Please do not put your trash in receptacles located around the fair, these are for the use of fair goers only.

Wifi:
Wifi is not available.

Sales Tax
We are located in Cattawissa, Missouri, the sales tax is 6.975%.

RULES/REGULATIONS

To help ensure our show is going to the best it can be we have established some rules and regulations. To participate in our event, you MUST observe the following:

All work must be original, handcrafted, created and preferably exhibited by the approved artist themselves. Kits, imports, and mass-produced items are not permitted and will not be tolerated. This rule is strictly enforced.

Upon arrival to the market if the items for sale are not a direct representation of what submitted with the application, the organizers of JCMM have the right to refuse your participation with no refund of any kind.

All applications require 5 images of your work and strongly request one of those images be a booth image, if you have one.

The application fee of $25 is nonrefundable.

Wait list - Once placed on the wait-list, the office will contact you as soon as we have an opening in the show. If called from the wait-list, there is NO penalty if you do not accept the spot.

NO subletting though predetermined sharing of space is admitted is permitted.

Taxes - Each exhibitor is responsible for collecting the State Sales Tax and filing a report with the local Department of Revenue. State and Missouri sales tax for Cattawissa is 6.975%

Tents - Exhibitors are responsible for making their tents sturdy against wind, rain etc. Tents MUST be manufactured of flame-retardant materials. Staking and sandbagging is permitted and HIGHLY recommended.

No personal amplification of music or distracting audio permitted

All display and furniture must remain in booth parameters

The Dittmer ArtBarn nor Old Farm Winery are not responsible for lost, damaged or stolen property.

NO outside alcohol allowed. This is mandated by State law. You will be ejected immediately with no refund.

This is a family event. We expect everyone to be kind and respectful and to HAVE FUN!

BOOTH INFORMATION

Exhibitors will be set up on a grass field at designated spots at the Old farm Winery in Catawissa.

Set up will begin at 6:00 am Saturday morning

Booth spaces are 10X10. Double spaces are available and can be added to your cart at checkout after acceptance.

Fees:
Single space $40
Double space $80
I need a booth space (space is VERY limited) +
$60.00

Once accepted you will be able to pay your booth fee and tell us any preferences you may have about your location. This includes any physical limitations you may have. The committee cannot guarantee that all requests will be able to be honored and will do their best to accommodate.

There is parking adjacent to the vendor areas. You will be permitted to near your tent until 9:00 am while unloading. Once unloaded and before setting anything up, your car needs to be moved. The lots located in the front of the Winery are reserved for patrons.

All vendors are solely responsible for the loading and unloading of their merchandise and displays. Bring your own dollys, hand trucks and whatever equipment you need to move your stuff in and out of the show smoothly and in a safe manner.

There are a limited number of electric spaces, so please request ahead of time, and you must bring your own 75 ft. outdoor rated electrical cord. These are first come first serve basis.

YOU WILL NEED SANDBAGS AND/OR STAKES.

The show is over at 6pm Sunday. Vendors are not to pack up their booths before that time. There will not be security provided during the show so pack up Saturday night or plan to camp out! Camping is fun!
