Detroit Artists Market invites DAM members and Michigan-based artists to submit work for our annual Art for the Holidays market: a tradition showcasing artwork, ornaments, artisan goods, and more from over 100 local artists. Each year, our gallery transforms into a salon-style marketplace, making DAM a go-to destination for unique, handmade holiday gifts.

We welcome submissions of items that make exceptional presents: ceramics, stationery, cards, jewelry, ornaments, small paintings, prints, and beyond.

Submission Guidelines:
-Artwork Size: 2D works may not exceed 24 x 24 inches.
-Price Limit: Individual works must be priced at $500 or less.
-Jury Fee: $10 non-refundable fee (submit up to 10 works under one entry).

Timeline:
-Call for Entry: August 18-September 12, 2026
-Artwork Drop off: November 3-7, 2026
-Exhibition: November 20-December 23, 2026
-Artwork Pick up: January 5-9, 2027

Commissions
DAM pays artists a 2/3 (66%) commission on sales.

Eligibility
Exhibiting artists must have an active DAM membership through at least November 20, 2026. DAM memberships are available to artists living and working in Michigan. Art for the Holidays is open to all artists living in Michigan 18 years and over. Only original works accepted. No commercial kits, prefabricated models, hobby crafts, or green ware. All prints submitted for jury must be from originals only. Artwork may not exceed $500 or 24 x 24 in size. DAM reserves the right to reject any entry. DAM also reserves the right to reject those that are unsuitable in size or fragility, do not meet the guidelines specified, or are not representative of work juried.

Presentation
Artwork must be prepared in a professional manner for display. All 2D works must be wired and ready to hang. DAM reserves the right to remove any artwork not accurately represented by submitted digital images.
