Vibrant Hues: A Kaleidoscope of Colored Pencil Art

Eligibility: Artists must be 18 years or over. Non-members and DC103 Chicago CPSA chapter members are invited to participate.

Members of the District Chapter 103 Chicago CPSA who have paid their Chapter and National member dues for the 2022-2023 year will receive a discounted entry fee. Artists must be residents of IL, WI, IN, MO, MN, IA or CPSA DC103 members living in other states.

Submissions must be received by Sept. 1st, 2023

Specifications:
Artwork must be at least 70% colored pencil and each artwork cannot exceed 32'X40' framed.

Art should have a neutral mat; white, off-white, tan, gray, or black.

Use a simple wood or metal frame with GLASS, acrylic or Plexiglass glazing to protect the artwork if needed.

No clip-on or self-standing photo frames.

Art must be wired and ready to hang, with no sawtooth hangers

No artwork may have been exhibited at a prior CPSA Chicago District Show. Entries cannot have won a prize at the CPSA International Exhibition and must have been completed within the last 3 years.

All artwork must be original in concept. If drawn from a photo, the photo must be taken by you. Photos taken by others, even with permission, are not allowed.

Artwork Identification:

Each artwork must be identified on the back (top right corner) by
Artist, Artist's phone number, Title, Pricing or NFS (Not for Sale)

Sale of Artwork: Prices will be marked (or NFS plus a stated value for insurance purposes) on
artworks.

All artworks must remain for the duration of the exhibition.

** 10% of the sale of the artwork will be donated to CPSA DC103 to cover exhibit costs.

**Example if you want $100 for your artwork, put the price for $110. when submitting.

Liability: Artists are responsible for insuring their own artwork.

CPSA103 takes every precaution to protect all artwork; however, 116 Gallery and/or CPSA103 will not be
responsible for artwork received in damaged condition or in the event of loss or damage to artwork submitted to this exhibit.

Entry Fees:

DC103 CPSA members; $25 for the first piece and $5 for each additional artwork up to three pieces entered ($25, $30, $35).

Non-members; $30 for the first piece and $5 for each additional piece up to three pieces ($30, $35, $40).

Artwork Drop Off: Monday, Oct. 2, 2023, 10:00-11:00am at 116 Gallery.

Hanging of the Artwork: Monday, Oct. 2, 2023 from 10:00am-2:00pm

Artwork Pick Up: Sunday, Nov. 2, 2023 from 11:00am-12:00pm
